Bio
I'm a singer-song-writer living in Tulsa, Oklahoma with my wife Elizabeth and 2 French Bulldogs, Petey and Ruthie. Originally from Massachusetts, I spent most of my adult years elsewhere. I unexpectedly came to Tulsa after many years in San Diego. Though I've written and played my whole life, I pursued a profession outside of music. Ultimately, I couldn't get past the desire to share my songs with the world and to record them in their best form.
My music style has evolved over time. I've always felt that if you had nothing to say, you shouldn't say anything; especially in a song. That resulted in a number of songs that were very personal and serious. For a while, listening to my stuff, and the songs of many others, I jokingly coined the phrase 'cut-wrist-radio'. I love a heart wrenching song, but too much is too much. I decided to broaden my horizons and have some fun. I started to draw on some country concepts, motown, and Even a little rap. I still think a song should have something to say, but some songs just make the listener feel something, shake their heads, or just laugh.
I’ve just recently released my second album, AFTER YHE CLIMB. A collection of 9 songs that all mean a great deal to me. I can only hope that you enjoy them half as much as I have enjoyed writing and recording them.
